The Gifts of Imperfection
Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are
Your guide to a wholehearted life
Brené Brown

Fans of Brené Brown will not need any convincing that any book of hers is worth a read. If you haven’t heard of Brené Brown, where have you been? She is a shame researcher who covers all the in-your-face emotions such as vulnerability, courage, worthiness and shame. There is so much shame around money. Shame if you don’t have enough and shame if you have too much. As you improve your money management skills you will naturally become wealthier as you will no longer be spending more than you earn. As silly as this might sound the capacity to have money is new territory for many people, learning to be comfortable with what you have without feeling shame is something you may be surprised is a byproduct of getting your act together financially. Although this book doesn’t cover finance in any way it presents some pretty amazing findings on the results of living a wholehearted life and facing shame head on.
